It’s been a long journey. We’ve had our ups & downs.  So finally the new Indian Street Food Cafe in The Mall, Luton . Abi’s Cafe created by Ineko Home opened his door this week.

Abi Shaikh discovered Ineko Home’s  website while looking for ideas for his new restaurant in Luton.  After that first call, we’ve been beavering away ever since.

The start of the journey was our ideas. These were presented to the owner back in February 2016. He loved our website & our unique reclaimed & industrial vintage products from the start – so the designs fell quite beautifully in place.

From these exciting ideas work began. It was time to measure up &  design our restaurant’s space. The dimensions where quite long and slim, so it was a challenge …

As always with any project commercial l or residential getting the desired look for the tight affordable price is key & this project was exceptional tight. We started off with concrete floors & walls with soft leather booths, & as prices came in, we had to create new ideas to help with price.

Our hand made metal Rusty letters play a major feature in the decor as do our industrial lighting and tables and chairs, all available on our website We dressed the hand made shelves with our hungarian vasesIndian herb tins and our range of everlasting magnolia stems. We commissioned the talented Katrina Bell to create some spicy coloured abstract canvas paintings with links to the indian street foods, Abi’s logos & touches of our Ineko Home decor. They are truly amazing & again Katrina has some of her work for your home on sale on our website. click here to have a viewing.

Opening day was last week and the food, as well as our decor is amazing. We wish Abi’s Cafe created by Ineko Home all the success & happiness with his new restaurant & we’ll be there to work on his next huge project. Already ideas for the next one are bouncing about in our heads.
