All our Pig Bench shows a level of imperfections indicating the massive brutal, life that they have undertaken. These may include some splitters in the wood even though we have lovingly restored them. We have retained the unevenness in shape, scratches, bumps & bruises to keep the enchanting character of the bench. They display their unique wear and tear with pride. Some joints are a little wobbly too, all adding to the perfect character & wonderful charm of these lovely little benches have. The wood is Elm, with an absolutely stunning original patina, that lifts these from being ordinary to something utterly unique . Incredibly tactile, and just begging to be used in our homes so further history can be added.

All our Vintage Pig Benches and Vintage Stools are restored – Any wobbles are repaired, the vintage items is carefully sanded down, keeping the character intact , nails are hammer in so they don’t catch or removed. Then we nourished with clear Briwax for them to last another 100 years – Once you order or enquire about our treasures, we send you an inventory of our stock with photos and measurements on for you to choose from. Choose your treasure for her size & shape to fit your pace in your home and not as the unrestored image on the inventory we send you to select from. The Briwax will make the wood slightly warmer in colour but will fade over time. If you do not require your treasure to be restored or waxed -please just ask.
