These old seeders where originally used as a tool for the sowing of fields. They are made of solid wood with decorative details carved out of the wood. They have on two of the sides an ox ploughing the field. One another side would be Ganesh, the Indian God who represents a heathy crop. On the fourth side the farmer and his wife, using the seeder. Some have other Indian patterns of shapes and flowers. They are so creative and beautiful.
They look amazing clustered together or side by side 3 in a row. Place them as a centre piece of the side board, coffee table, fire hearth or the kitchen table. It would be perfect for a period property or even to add character to a new style home.
As all our reclaimed, restored, re-loved treasures, this great Indian Candlestick is a truly unique item & shows a level of natural ageing indicative of the life it once lived. This may include some dumps & scratches, all adding to the character & charm of the Candlestick
