Most family homes in Hungary have these hand carved & painted storage benches.  This smaller storage bench seat would look great in any busy family hallway or a farmhouse style kitchen. 

This small Hungarian Storage Bench is a truly unique piece & shows a level of natural ageing indicative of the life it once lived. This may include some scratches & dints, all adding to the character & charm of the Storage Bench. We have 2 of these beautiful benches, and with all our reclaimed discoveries they do sell very quick. This one is one of a kind. It can be painted in whatever colour you would like. Here on the image you have a  beautiful Graphite grey with black wax and a Paris Grey with clear wax both in chalk paint.
